Did You Know?

Miami-Dade’s agriculture is a massive industry that employs more than 20,000 workers, is a pillar of our local economy and is critical to our local sources of food.

Land-use decisions, such as Holding the Line on sprawl, are foundational economic, climate and resiliency issues that Miami-Dade County cannot afford to get wrong.

Miami-Dade County is the most at-risk county in South Florida to loss of property tax revenue from sea level rise by 2070 (total estimated loss: $1.345 billion).

Green space reduces heat island effect, protects farm workers and all those that work (and play) outside in South Dade, including our kids.

Our natural coastal lands give communities vital protection from the impacts of sea level rise, including property damages from flooding & storm surge
